    Trumpet Horn

I'm thinking about mounting a trumpet horn on my tower. Any thoughts or suggestions? From what I've read, sounds like the compressor can be an issue -either it's too noisey or the compressor has to run every time you want the use the horn. I've seen a couple electric trumpet horns, are they equally as loud?

Why don't you just pick trumpet horns in a can? Same effect with no assembly required!

What a strange first post. Welcome to the Planet. I'm curious why this topic compelled you to go over the edge and join this group.

I think if you are going to put a horn on a tower, you need to go all out. If you don't get one that plays Dixie, the antique car horn, and a battle charge, among others, you are going to be left unfulfilled. If you put one on that can play the music from the helicopter attack in Apocalypse Now, you know you have arrived.

I prefer Dixie. When I was around 14 my buddy installed some in his Boston whaler. Yes I'm from Alabama, but I'm not s white trash as I may sound.
