    DECKadence floor covering?

Saw this in the new Tige's and kinda like it. Has anyone been in a boat with it and how did it feel under foot? Seems only smart since it wont hold moisture.

I think Ive seen this stuff around pools at hotels/waterparks and such. I havent seen the Tige, but would think this would cheapin the look of a boat. I do however like the the drivers open back breathable seat in the Tiges.

If I do it I would do it in a light grey and have it bordered with a dark blue to match my boat so it wouldnt cheapen it up. That seat, the touch screen and no leg room is what I didnt like on the Tige (I dont like post mount seats in general)

the stuff at the pools feels rubbery, and squishy, Would be nice for keeping clean im sure. No more carpet stains or hours plucking up hair. Might be cool. I would like to see picks if you choose to it. Not sure how it would mount. Glue might press through it?

looks like the open texture would collect debris. Also looks like the water would pass through, and as you said not be absorbed by the material, leaving me to wonder about what's going on between it and the deck.

Just a thought: If there is a move underway to go from carpeting to options like Sea Dek, etc., something that looks to be easily swept or even hosed down, can gutters and floor drains like those in Boston Whalers or Grady Whites be far behind?

I would like to have it snap down or even magnets like MB uses

It's OEM in my ski locker. It's heavy when it gets wet and holds water under it. IMHO I don't think it would be comfortable under foot.

I agree that it looks like it would hold dirt..... Lots of it. And hold moisture too. So if it was not totally dry when you stow your boat = mildew. imo
