New folding platform brackets for 200 CB

Has anyone changed their existing platform brackets to the new folding system that Nautique is now using on their 2012 line-up?

Reason I would like to do the conversion is that I currently have to remove the platform each time I park the boat. Hopefully will be able to install the new brackets and be able to keep existing platform..

If so, any leads on where I can purchase the brackets would be appreciated.

Call your dealer would be the best bet. I don't think there is a conversion kit. The brackets them selves may be a different hole pattern and may not match up.

I don't know this for sure but I bet you would need the new style platform and the brackets. The way it mounts is different and the newer platforms are much lighter.

I just noticed you posted about a 200. In that case the platform should be the same, my mistake.

I'm interested in the outcome of this conversation too. I have to remove the platform off of my 08 210 as well... Please keep us all informed.

              Response from Nautique:

"You would need a new Platform and new Brackets plus the holes already drilled for your current platform brackets would not match up which means you would need to repair the existing holes and then re-drill for new brackets. This is not something we would recommend you do."

              Oh well..

I think the group could come up with something. I would need to see a couple pics of the new setup. I'm thinking that you have a steel plate made that matches the old holes and screw that into the existing, then drill new holes for the new brackets.
