I used to lower it each time when I kept the boat out at the lake. Now that I trailer it every time, I leave it up.

What are you up to ? Are you looking to see if you can add "hydraulics" to automatically raise the tower ?

I can almost see a "Reality Show - Monster Boat Garage" TV show in the making here. - LoL ! ! !

Lowered the tower once on vaca to pass under a low bridge just to check out the lower bay and once to get into the garage for winter.

I had heard that Master Craft was working on a Tower that raises and lower's, at the touch of a button, but its just a rumor. I was wondering how many people need or could use this option, Im sure it wouldnt be that big of a deal to make on a X star with the 3 inc round tower stock, Im guessing it would be a $2,000 to $2,500 dollar option if they ever came out with it.

I don't think I ever unscrewed the tower legs. I'm lucky that I can store my boat as it sits, tongue, swim deck and tower.

When I hit the garage door opener from the tow vehicle the entire house raises - it's a pain when I forget to close the door when entering the house. Not even funny - someone on this sight probalbly has something like that.

Seriously, we don't lower the tower unless we absolutely have to for a bridge. We are going to build a lift that will accomidate the tower. When trailoring we keep the boat in the driveway and leave the tower up. Winter storage is in a large marina starage barn.

I have to raise and lower my tower everytime I use the boat to get it in and out of the garage.

Have to raise and lower each trip to get it in the garage, so we trailer it in the lowered position to keep the bugs off.

Right now I have to raise and lower when I store it outside b/c my current and soon to be discarded boat cover won't accomodate the tower being up.

I raised and lowered the tower on my previous boat when I put it on the lift. If I lower the tower I can get the boat higher underneath the canopy which helps keep stuff from blowing in and making a mess. I don't cover the boat. That is why I bought the TItan for my supersport that I got this winter, I plan to raise and lower it each time and I know with that tower I can do it myself in about 20 seconds.

I have to lower everytime I put it in storage...although this winter it found a nice home @ west coast CC. They didn't lower the tower to put it on the racks. Although, everytime i drive by the local firehouse I drool at the thought of a pull through garage with giant doors...*dreams*
