    Which engine cover

Can anyone tell me if this engine cover will fit my 2002 SANTE with the Excalibur? http://www.nautiqueparts.com/enginec...r330-gray.aspx

I like the looks of that one better...seems more finished. I think mine is currently this one http://www.nautiqueparts.com/coverengine57lpcmfwc.aspx but it is broken and does not stay in place. I noticed the mounting holes are in different locations. Is one for DD and one for v-drive??

This is a picture from an '02 that had an aftermarket closed cooling system added. You can see where they modified the wings on the cover to fit the coolant cap. I'd bet that the one with the wings would fit just fine and if not, it would be easy to turn into that other one without the wings.

I thought the same thing about direct drive vs v-drive, but they may have sticker-ed both ends identically.

the first one is what came on the v-drive excaliburs and the second looks like its for a direct drive excalibur ... no reason the first one shouldn't fit yours if you do in fact have the excalibur

The second one is for Freshwater cooled engines (FWC in descriptions). The normal engine cover in both v drives and DD's was the first one

Thanks...the way the pictures were taken threw me for a loop. I assumed they were installed in the direction in the pics.
