What did you own before your Nautique?

Traded this one in for a '04 211 TE. It was a great boat until I took a test drive on the 211... then I experienced the wake... then I got out of the water and wrote the check. Done!

billybmke, nice boat. In the early ninties, I came closer than ever to trading in the 1982 SN for a big Supra with a 454. I think it was called a Saltare. But they wanted $30K for it, so I walked. But that was boat that was different enough that I thought it stood out from the pack. Something I didn't feel was so with almost any other ski boat manufacturer until v-drives and towers came out.

All way's owned I/O's before I knew better. Really just skied on weekends until I bought a summer cottage at the local res. and started to ski with a neigbor with a Supra, thats when I really noticed the difference. Took a while to talk the wife into a Nautique but she would never give it up now. She loves to drive as much as she likes to ski behind it.

This is my first boat, not counting one PWC. I got a Brand new 216 Team in Aug of 04. Only 20 hrs on her so far but that'll change soon!
I'm extremely proud to have this as my first boat. I guess I started at the top of the food chain! I am extremely impressed with this boat versus the other boats I've been on and test driven. If your gonna go, then go big!
