Weight diffrerence between 2000 and 2001 SAN

I was looking at the reference section of the correct craft fan website at the brochures. The 2000 SAN's weight is listed at 2900lbs. and the 2001 SAN is 3190 lbs. I thoguht these were basically the same boat? Is this correct?

They are the same hull, they do differ in a few other ways. I can not list all of them. The big ones I know are the 01 has a larger fuel tank and splits the back compartment, someone else may be able to tell you where that weight comes from though.

I just thought 300 was quite a bit since they are set up basically the same and have the same motor. I was also concerned about the weight for my boat lift.

How big of a lift do you have?

The CC brochures are notoriously inconsistent in the weights listed. Even the weight of the SN would change with no hull or deck change.

My guess is the difference maybe was that the 2000 was weighed w/o ballast tanks and tower installed and for 2001 they included those in the weight.
