I have a tough decision to make. I am searching for a new boat and am having a bit of trouble deciding what i want. I love to ski the course we have on our lake, but then again i am a intermediate wake boarder. I can do rolls and spins both ways. I also really enjoy surfing. I mainly ski and surf. I am looking at some 210's but a v drive sucks in the course, and also looking at air nautiques but im not sure how there surf wake is. Does anyone have any input on surfing behind an air? Anyone have any pictures if there wake behind an air? Thanks in advance

Buy the 210 and trade wakeboarding his kids behind your boat in exchange for skiing the course behind his 200 or 196. You didn't say how good of a skiier you are, but I'm not sure you'll ever be happy with a crossover. Good luck.Nautiqueless in San Diego

Gotta ask what line length and speed you ski in the course? I have a 211 that I use in the course every now and then but usually ski behind one of a few 196's or a promo 200 DD. My 211 is not fun at 22off. If you are skiing 15/34 or 28/34 it is not bad but that 22 off pass is a killer. I also must say that I have picked up some pretty bad habits skiing very far back over the wakes after going out the front a few times on my V-drive wake. For lake boating you can't beat the layout of a V-drive. If you are used to a direct drive you will hate the piggish handling of most V-drives. Lots to think about.
In your price range you are probably going to struggle to find something that meets your needs. I know this is planetnautique but another boat you should consider is an old pointy nose X-star. They are decent crossover boats and you should easily be able to find one in your price range.
