    sv 211 te RPM range

Just bought 04 SV 211 TE. It has excalibur engine and 4 blade prop. RPM are running about 3300 at 22 MPH and about 4500 at 32 MPH with only 4 crew and no ballast. Does that seem normal?

RE: sv 211 te RPM range

Seems high to me, what's it spin at WOT? My 211 has the Signature prop, 13.5x17.5 and it only spins 4800 rpm WOT at 46MPH, your boat should spin a little more with the 13.25x16 prop but I don't know if it should spin that much more.

WOT is about 5200-5300 around 44-45mph.

that sounds about right Joe. if you are WOT 5200 , then 44-45mph (where is the hydro gate?) with the 13.25/16 prop is about right.. That prop assumes you are running loaded with full ballast tanks, so it is pitched lower such that you don't lose your holeshot. going with the signature prop, like mike. you'll get more top end, but there may be a compromise on the low end, when you are weighted. Mike , chime in on the 17 prop with ballast ...

The TE comes with a prop that is set for wakeboarding not cruising- thus higher RPM at lower speeds. You can change the prop to make it more of a cruising boat, with less out of the hole power and lower RPM<
