Not a bad idea, but I would have issues (and other would too I'm sure) with cutting a hole into the cover and it doesn't do anything for the bow portion of the cover which will hold water as well. There is also the guys that don't have towers or have to lower the tower. I would like to know how much it costs, didn't see that on the website.

Wouldnt an i bolt and a larger fender washer in the gromment hole do the same thing and you wouldnt have to poke any holes in your EXPENSIVE cover.

is a good idea for sure ... however, seems like it would be just as easy to rig up a jack-leg version

I had a cover made that goes over the tower and I also made it long enough to cover the sides of the boat. It's turned out to be the best cover I ever had.

You could always get another one and attach it the same way but on the bow portion.

I use something similar. I had some loops sewn into the centre of my cover and the centre of the bow portion and simply attach the loops to the tower by using bungee straps.

Must admit I like this hangtyte better as it looks like you can get it as tight as you want.

Interesting, good idea. Looks simple, might just rig one of my one up.

Coversports seems a better option. One less step, no hassle with ropes, towable, no worries in strong winds, looks much cleaner.

Brilliant. My Coversports cover costs $800. This is $40. As much as I like my Coversports, if this was around two years ago, I could have got a couple more seasons out of my old cover. Nice option!
