Buying my first nautique! Got a few queations though

Hey guys I'm new to the planet nautique family. I'm about to purchase my first boat and I found a 2003 210 teams edition. I've talked the dealer down to 22000 the main question I have is that is has 1400 hrs on it and I know that the typical boat will have about 100 hrs a year so that seems like alot haven't taking out for a test drive but heard it run and motor sounded fine. Would the hrs worry y'all. Another question is it's about 400 miles away from my home and it's a single axle trailer should that worry me? But all in all the boat is pristine just hoping I can call it mine soon! Oh one last thing I have never rode behind a nautique mostly moombas around me how is the wake gonna be. Most things I have heard is that the 2003 210 is the holy grail of wakes. Thanks for any info you can give me

Recommended rebuild is about 2500 hours. The trailer will be fine IF you have them replace all the races and bearings and regrease them. Id have a spare tire. The wake will make u think you've never been behind a vdrive before. It's hard, poppy, and can get scary with weight, but it stays clean easily.

I'm not real sure if it has been rebuilt yet or not it was a repo.

It does to me. Also, check the tire age before you drive home.

How far are you going to typically pull it? 2 miles down the road to the ramp or a 6 hour trek 4 times a year to your favorite destination? If you're going to put some miles on the trailer, a tandem axle would be better.

I would say not a bad deal at all. Make sure the tires are sound, bearings are good and pull it home. Hrs don't worry me as long as the boat is taken care of.

Have the dealer go over the trailer and put new tires on it if needed. Tires are CHEAP for dealers.

I have heard some not so good story's on repo boats, but as long as the dealer has inspected it you should be fine. Is a Nautique dealer? Some actually give a short warranty on used boats. I agree with the bearings on the trailer, (races and bearings) as well as having a good spare tire/wheel. Welcome to the family!
