    1. Yes, it will have the anchor light.
    2. The new factory covers are great, but if you don't like it, Coversports are awesome as well.
    3. I suppose it depends what your 206 is sitting on, but a 200 really requires a trailer designed for that hull.

Are you sure it is missing? They hide it pretty well. If I remember correctly.... lift the passenger seat. Look up under starboard side.

I love the factory cover. When they are new, it takes a bit to pull them down in the back. It will loosen up some.

The 200 is a difficult boat for trailers. Not sure I would try anything except a 200 trailer

        guys

The cover I got is black thin nylon material. My boat is not trailered and is kept full time in the water (air temp 50 degrees celcius in summer!) therefore it needs to be cut for bimini supports, rope attachment bow and stern to dock cleat. Once this is done and the elasticated band is cut (which has to be done for ropes etc) the the ratchets become redundant and therefore additional tie downs need to be sewn in......................this is my problem.

do you guys just use it for storage (w/o bimini) and trailering
why did Nautique change from the Sunbrella matl.

Dave I have to transport the boat one time , 10 miles total next week for reg, you reckon I should not use the 206 Trailer. Dont bwant to takes big risks

Why do you need to cut the band? It's actually a strap, not elastic. The ratchets in the back tighten it up below the rub rail. That's all that is needed to hold it on. No poles, ropes, etc.

The cover should have come with some plastic things for the cleats. Take it to an upholstery shop and have them sew them in. Don't cut holes in the cover without some plastic sewed in around the hole.

How tall are the bimini supports? I just let mine go right over top of everything. If it has a sharp edge, you can lay a towel over it.

If you plan to trailer it with the cover on, I recommend against tie down straps. They will vibrate and scratch the boat.

The cover may seem thin, but I like it MUCH better than the old sunbrella covers. Don't have to mess with straps, poles, etc. It trailers great and repels water. The two vents on the top not only allow moisture out, but the help 'suction' it down while towing.

I only use mine for trailering in bad weather and if it stays overnight at a tournament where there is no garage. Otherwise, it stays in a garage.

Trailer - The 200 is wider and has a much more complicated hull. It may not even fit. If it does, it may hit one of the chines on an edge and damage it. Don't see anything wrong with putting it on there to see how it fits. Who knows... Just back the trailer very deep and float it on.

The 206 trailer will not fit the 200. It is not wide enough and the bunks are patterned different. If you use the 206 trailer which is a 196 trailer only longer the 200 may sit on the wheel wells and that will damage the hull. take the time to get the right trailer.

Thanks for advice on Trailer guys

Dave, the reason I say cut strap is because my boat is moored in a marina like a traditional boat, with the cover on during the day and I have fenders attached to cleats, ropes attached to dock and bimini permanant fixed at the ss fitting, so the cover will have to be cut to get around these obstacles. I am thinking therefore the ratcheting may be inoperable or not effective??? once the straps are cut maybe i will have to try it out

see my new boat on show us your Nautique posted today

              cheers

If you cut the strap, the ratchets will not work. Can you attach the ropes to the pull out cleats? Have the holes cut for them. Otherwise, I'd get a different cover.

yes i am attaching to cleats and working around the problem to not cut the strap

same for bimini which is permanently fixed so will have to quickly disengage at the pin to pass the cover over
