    Pricing Questions

    Just curious what you guys think on this boat http://slo.craigslist.org/boa/2897474318.html Ive been around boats for awhile, but figuring out if this guys worth it with such high hours is really throwing me off, thanks in advanced!

    Wow. 3500 hours? Has the motor been rebuilt? If you're not mechanically capable (I'm not), I would be afraid of that boat. Unless you want a project I'd pass. Just do the math.

      One would assume that since he paid $14k for a boat with over 3000 hours at the time, combined with the party pic in the listing, that the boat has been cared for with party first, brains second. He did, however, have three young women in his boat, so he is obviously doing something correctly.

        See how low you can get it for, then buy the GT-40 motor for sale off of ski-it-again. It looks like new skins are in order too. The replaced rear and observer seat look awful, plus the observer seat appears to have a huge seam split. Yank that tower, fill the holes, and you're good to go:-)

          That's what I'm thinking, however when talking on the phone the guy is really haggling me with the price, however due to the move I think I'm going to tell him ill buy it for 5k if he doesn't have another option.
