Found this advertisement for the Mapple 200 in a magazine that came today. I thought Andy's choice of clothing was interesting. He's wearing a Super Air Nautique shirt -- or at least a shirt with the griffon graphic and the Air Nautique logo.
There is often this mentality that people participating in certain disciplines of watersports have a disrespect for those participating in other disciplines. It is rare for a dedicated, hardcore slalom junkie to admit to enjoying a wakeboard set every now and then. Same is true for wakeboarders, rarely admitting to strapping on a slalom ski and ripping up the course.
I think it is very cool that Andy is wearing an Air Nautique shirt. Is he making a statement? Maybe so, maybe not. Maybe that's the only Nautique shirt they had in his size at the photo shoot.
