What's A 2006 196 SE Worth?

Friends,
Considering buying a 2006 196 SE. SE is the no frills version of boat (key ignition, rocker switch dash, etc.). 650 hours. Club boat. Perfect pass. No radio. Good condition. Good maintenance records. All and all, a very nice boat. 330 PCM, heater, single axle trailer, Bimi, cover, etc.

NADA blue book on 2006 196-se average retail is $25,315.

Would love to get other's opinion on value of this boat.

In my opinion, the SE is a more valuable boat. You will not have keypad issues in a few years, and a common key switch will still be in production, should you ever need one.

Somewhere in the low to mid $20's is where I'd be comfortable. You'll see them listed pretty high out there, but actual sales are pretty soft right now - at least according to my two semi-local Nautique dealers. I sold my '06 for $27.8 in '09, for what it's worth.

Very helpful. Thanks. The owner has it listed at $29K, which is way to high. Was thinking of offering around $25K. But maybe starting even lower is appropriate? Appreciate the hard sales data, that's exactly what I was hoping to see. Asking prices is one thing, selling price quite another.

Not having Zero Off hurts. With PP and being an SE, I'd say mid $20's.

Keep in mind Nada doesn't usually include the value of the trailer, so you should tack on another $1,500.00 for a single axle trailer in good shape.
