A buddy of mine had an MB B 52 and his in floor ballast tanks cracked over time and were basically irreparable. They would leak into the rest of the hull and due to that his boat almost sank twice. He bought the boat in Texas and brought it to KY. When he realized it was a POS, he couldn't give the thing away. He ended up taking a HUGE hit when he traded it at the MC dealer. I am unaware of the quality of there current line so I won't comment on that. Another buddy of mine had a a 220 and it made a great surf wave.

Your buddy had to have pursued a warranty claim, didn't he? What gives with that?!?

Nmma is meaningless. It's just a lobbying group

I don't have experience with this boat, but I've heard it's a little touchy with side-to-side weight. However, my boat (2000 Air) is kinda touchy when wakeboarding too, so take it with a grain of salt. Nautiques really hold up over time and they hold their resale value too. You'll be happy with a Nautique. I don't know anything about MB.

The boat has to meet their standards to be certified . If all your competition is certified Why wouldn't you. I had this argument on WW and all I got was its meaningless. My take is like JD Power its only meaningless to those that dont have them .

My buddy was second owner of that MB and it was long out of warranty. I have no idea if he even called them to ask if they could cover it. He has more money than sense and just traded it in. I am not sure if ballast tanks even when molded into the hull, would be covered by a structural hull warranty

I can take a **** in a box and slap a guarantee on it. It's only as good as the man behind it. The boats are coast guard certified. It's just more money for mb to spend and pass along to the customer, plus it makes it easier for moronic boaters and police to issue tickets having one; however that may be a good thing.

Riptide - Sangers are rock solid no nonsense/no frills boats with great wakes. I absolutely loved mine. I sold mine to a buddy and the boat has 950 hrs on it. Only thing that went bad was the fuel pump at 750 hrs.
