With the new boat that will change it all, I want to hear about what else Correct Craft did to change the industry. I heard they were the first to install a tower on a boat from the factory. If true thats pretty "changing" to the wake world. What about ballast, who was the first? Speed control? Anything else Nautique did first?

It is funny. Before I bought my first Nautique, I remember seeing a spoof that some MC guys (or MC fans) put together about the various other manufacturers. Tige they ripped for ripping off everyone else. Malibu they ripped for the wedge. Nautique the ripped for never innovating. I guess if you are going to lie... lie really big.Now

per Waterski Magazine-May 2011 issue:
"1997 is a monumental year for Correct Craft. The Air Nautique features the first ever wake board tower, and the initial reaction is that the contraption is an eyesore. That quickly changes as riders realize that the four point attachment to the deck of the boat provides a more stable pull and they can edge much more aggressivley."
