When did Nautiques go to DBW?

I'm looking at a 2005 ski 206 without a speed control, is it going to be dbw or cable for the throttle? When was the change made?

They changed in 2006. It's throttle by wire technically. Drive by wire would mean electric steering. I'd really love to see dbw in a boat.

Yeah, I seem to remember it's only partially throttle by wire because there is some sort of short cable run in there t'boot. ICBW.

        My 06 is TBW.

It is kind of scary to know that the speed is being controlled by a computer. I'm not sure I could cope with DBW.
