how many people on your 210? pictures please...

I'm planning on buying my first nautique. I've owned Malibu boats up to this point. I've done quite a bit of reading and I'm very excited about joining the Correct Craft family. I have two teenage daughters who will be bringing at least one friend each when we boat, so I'm guessing regulary 6-8 people on the boat for the day. I've seriously considered a 226 but feel like it might be too big to be fun... How many of you have a bunch of folks on your 210s on a regular basis? If you have any pics I'd love to see what a crowded 210 looks like! Thanks!

I don't have any pics available, but I can tell you I prefer to keep my boat limited to no more than 6 people. It's not so much the people, but all the stuff that comes with those people. If you're talking about the Legacy hull (95-06) there isn't an abundance of storage. You talk about 6 people, plus a bag per person. If they ride... board, vest, maybe rope. All that gear adds up quickly. If you're out for the day and have no lake house to come back to then add a bag or two for snacks plus a cooler big enough to hold drinks for those people for the day. I think you get where I'm going with this... The newer hull (07-present) has more storage and isn't quite as cramped feeling to me. The bow area makes a good place to store bags and whatnot assuming no one wants to sit there or you don't have a bow sac.

I'm strickly talking from a comfort point of view as well... More than 6 people and it's hard to kick back and relax without being on top of ech other. I have do occasionally carry more than 6, I just don't make it happen very often.

heres a pic of my 210 with 6 peeps. Driver, 4 across the rear bench & 1 rider. So the observer seat is open and the bow is open. So 6-8 is somewhat comfy. After that it gets crampped.
I personally close the guest list at 6.

Welcome! I have an '03 210 and a family of 4. We typically go out with one other family so 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 4 to 11). The tweens usually ride in the bow with the adults and little groms in the back. I haven't had any issue with storage but we keep the gear down to the essentials. I'm particular about everything being put away so if it doesn't fit, it doesn't come. I always wish there was more space but we have it down pretty well and can comfortably accommodate all for the day. Are you looking at new or used 210s? If used, what year or price range (new hull vs. legacy)?

Just out of curiosity, what made you make the switch?

First let me welcome you to the CC family I think you will love the 210.
6 is no problem on my 08 210 at 8 it gets a little cramped . As Core Rider has said its the stuff they all bring that is the problem.
I hate clutter and the extra 6 bags of junk is a problem for me . I would say 4-6 is perfect but more gives a better surf wake .
If you want to travel to Lanier bring your group and we will load the 210 up and give it a test .

I'll 2n'd or 3rd the gear, it's a PITA, tell them to leave it in the car, at the house, and all the shoes/flipflops etc.

Here is my 2010 210 with prolly 8-9 people, add 1 for the camera guy and I think there was another person in the bow.

Me out back yelling where to sit to clean up the wakesurf wave.

Even a 230 is pretty nimble for its size, so I don't see the 226 driving like a cruise ship although I've never driven one. I would rather start with something bigger than I need rather starting with something that's already full. We never seem to have less stuff and less people as time goes by.

I second the bigger boat. It sounds like you will regularly have more than 6, so maybe the bigger boat would be better. Sac Surfer, that pic looks like a cluster ****.... Lol..... I have been there though...
