    re fueling a 200

Does anyone have the same problem in that it takes forever to re fuel the boat.

Even placing the nozzles just inside an empty tank and squeezing the lever (slowly) , the fuel supply will cut out as the fuel shoots back up towards the nozzle. Maybe the pipe inside is kinked or no air flow, but i even opened the air vent>>>>>>>>>strange

I have never had any problems with any of them. are you sure you are getting the nozzle into the hole correctly, not just into the main opening. The actual opening goes off on an angle to the starboard side of the main opening. What year 200? Anything built after 1/1/2012 has a new filler.

Try rotating the nozzle around. There are certain angles that work better than others.

I've thought all models had port and starboard fill points for years? I hated my old mc only having one starboard.

Since the 200 has saddle bags, they moved the filler to the middle. Yes, it was nice having it on both sides. 90% of the time, I use tanks and a hose, so it doesn't effect me too much.

Agreed. I usually use one cap 99% of the time and usually it's a 5 gallon with some hose to siphon. Definitely need a few race cans. Thanks California.

I used to use one of those, but they are kinda slow. Work well, but I'm impatient.

                        Try this:
Get the largest diameter hose that will fit in the gas filler hole
Make sure the 5 gal tank is higher than the boat tank (beside the filler hole is fine)
Insert hose in both the boat and the 5 gal tank
Cup your hand around the hose and opening where the hose goes into the 5 gal tank (so no air can get out)
Squeeze the sides of the 5 gal tank. I use my knee and the other free hand. This will force the gas up and into the boat.
Once it starts, release your hand from the opening.
This method will dump a 5 gal tank in about 30-45 seconds

Thanks guys , i have tried all those suggestions with the 206
                            and it works grt.
Unfortunately, as the tank fill in now at the rear of the boat on the 200 , it is impossible to siphon from the board platform unless one lifts a heavy Gerry can as i reckon the tank is nearly at same level or higher than the gerry can..........but i will give it a try.

my boat is moored in marina permanantly.

You should only have to fill it one time then.
