In the hopes that suggestions on PN are passed on or are reviewed by Nautique - Id like to offer a suggestion, with all do respect.

On the Nautique.com site - there is a main video for each boat model, the 210, 230, G23 etc. -- Would it possible to make the videos longer and to them add some more detail on the boat itself - showing various model features, options, detailed interior / exterior shots etc.?

Either way, I'm still only ever buying a Nautique !!

I should be able to give my review the first week of June. The expected completion date on my personal G23 is May 31. I coordinate an event here in MN...the MN Spring Ride, and we are going to have a G23 towed up here for the event. Hopefully mine will be here by then as well. So, one way or another, at the very latest I'll be in one on June 7th.

I went with a similar color scheme as the one above, just switched in white for the forward stripe.

What prop are they coming with?? I know Kyle Rattray swapped out his on the G23 pictured above with my suv and he said it made a drastic improvement. He said he thought the production g23 would be running this prop. Not 100% sure though.

I'm not quite sure...the build sheet just says Tournament Propeller. I'll have to check in on that. What is in that picture, a 1425?

I've been under the assumption that it was coming with the 1235. I will have to double check!

I think the numbers you are reading in the photo are the pitch of the prop 14.25, (which would happen to be the pitch of a 1235, by the way.)

I think its the 2249...its a 15"

That would make sense.

I'm confused now, lol. Can you confirm what Rattray had on his originally, and what he has now?

It looks like the 2249 is supposed to have better hole shot than the 1235 does...can anyone confirm?

We run our SAN230 (409hp) with the 1235 and about 5400 pounds of ballast...gets outta the hole pretty well. The G23 is going to have the 450hp engine, and I plan to run about 6k of ballast, plus it has additional 1100 pounds of fiberglass weight. Be pretty sweet if the 2249 was even more of a monster than the 1235!

I've got an inquiry into a couple of people. I'll let you know what I hear.

I know for a fact he said he put the 15" and it was a big improvement. I was sitting right there next to him when he was talking about it. Not sure what the original one was.

I know some malibu guys run this 2249 on their lsv and saw a big difference.

Just got confirmation today that they are equiped with the following:
409/450hp: Acme 2313 – 15 x 12VL4B 1.125 Cup .150
550hp: Acme 2247 – 15 x 14.25VL4B 1.125 Cup .150

Just got off the phone with Jim at Acme and he said the 2313 is the top dog when it comes to props...much more aggressive that the 1235.

Finally heard back from Boatmate on the overall height of the G23 on their trailers. With the tower down, on 18" wheels, it will be right around 8'2", and right at 8' with 14" wheels. It's about 3" less then the other guys, I guess. Sounds like my trailer will be arriving here in MN pretty soon. The dealer ordered it with a Black Frame, Sublime Steps and Fenders. Hopefully I'll be happy with the color scheme that was chosen.

It's also going to have these 18" wheels on it.
