I've had a black boat since 2003 and have had no problems keeping it clean. I would say the only caveat is if you keep it in the water for extended periods of time (not on a lift). Still, I feel the black hull is easier to keep clean than a white hull. Here is a pic of my boat from last summer. Go black for sure!

I had a black hull 05 211 for 3yrs and never had a problem. people always asked me how i kept it clean, but i never did anything different than what i did for a white hull. I never really looked where the bunks or the beach would hit it because who cares anyway, and when i traded it they never looked either. I take good care of my boats but I dont care if i get a scratch here or there because when it comes time to sell or trade in nobody pays a premium for a boat that is in spectacular condition Vs very good condition.-Jon
