My new PTMEdge mirror for the 2012 PlanetNautique boat just arrived, and it is awesome!
Most of you know that White Lake Marine began selling these mirrors earlier this year. I thought they looked great, but did not fully understand the performance of these mirrors. A couple of weeks back, I was down in Orlando riding with Murray and Travis Moye. Travis asked me if I had seen the mirrors like the one on Shaun's 230. I immediately recognized the mirror as a PTMEdge. Once I sat in the driver's seat, I was blown away by the range of vision this mirror provides. It is incredible! On top of that, the clarity is way above that of other mirrors I have used. Later that week, I had one shipped to my house. I am really looking forward to getting this on the PlanetNautique boat this year!
Travis used to use two mirrors in his boats, and now with the field of vision this one offers, he just uses a single PTMEdge. These are outstanding mirrors, and I now consider them a required piece of safety gear on my boats!
These mount on the standard mounts that come with any of the Nautique mirrors, so if you have one of those, there is no need to purchase a new mount.
