    Trailer Design

Does anyone have experience or an opinion with a trailer design where the boat chines rest on top of one or more of the trailer bunks? I was told the Vanguard brand trailer that will be supplied with our 05 SV 211 was purposely designed with the front bunks catching the front of the bottom boat chines. I've never heard of this being a good practice. I'm concerned with the long effects to the hull and frequent trailer bunk maintaince. We haven't taken delivery and thankfully, the dealer is making sure we are comfortable with everything. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't order one that had the chines resting on the bunks. Order a Ramlin and you won't have any issues.
