Watch out for black covers

I started that previous thread and my observer seat was just like yours. My solution was to go grey for the cover color, but it had to be custom made locally as Natique's vender only does black. It is hard to judge exactly at what point too much sun and heat will warp the seat backing material, melt plastic, or burn the vinyl on the seats. I do not understand why they keep selling the black and not go to a more reflective color like silver or grey. It is a disaster waiting to happen in many parts of the US and Internationally.

I couldnt agree more. I am trying to get refund from CC as this is brand new boat and cover and is not fit for purpose ,then I shall get one copied in lighter color at a local shop . Good job I read up on the thread in time before disaster struck. Our temps reach 50 deg C in summer!!
