You might not believe this but that cover will go on. First time we put the cover on our 200v I said no f...way but it finally went on and now after a few uses it fits very well. Try putting it on without joining the velcro at the tower legs and see if you can slip it over the transom rub rail. Did you loosen the straps in the zippered enclosures? Once you do get it on cinch both strap cranks down and tow it around the block, then keep retightening them, it will better as it stretches.

I haven't tried strapping it down before I fastened the Velcro at the tower but will. I figured I'd never get the Velcro togetherbecause it would be too tight. Unfortunately, trailering in it around isnt't an option so if it needs to stretch, hopefully it will be enough tightening it down.

      Thanks for your help.

ok - we've had the new 230 for 3 days now and have "tried" covering the boat 3 times with the cover sports cover...

Maybe I just don't get it but...

        1. Can't figure out the cinching strap at the rear to tighten the "rope"
        2. No cutouts for the cleats to be able to cover the boat while docked (maybe they do cutouts? But I was never asked about this)
        3. The "hooks" that Velcro in and hook the rub rail cut into the lower rubber of the rub rail and leave it with an indentation--maybe it doesn't and won't hurt but it is noticeable - maybe I'm too much of a perfectionist but this does bother me...

Any feedback / suggestions are more than welcomed and appreciated....

I'll buy 5 gallons of gas for your boat for the first person that will post a video of how to operate and put on the rear cinch down strap on the pro cover from cover sports :-) -- showing detail of looping what end thorugh where and etc. and how to put strap through the "teeth" to cinch it in place in the middle of the padded pouch.

Here's some pics of my 210 with the coversports cover. I'm not sure if I installed the cover completely correctly but it seems to work. I've noticed that some people tie the rear straps down below the swim deck instead of into the tabs in the rub rail for instance. For the rear strap, I fed it through the loop on the one end and then back into the buckle. I had to pull it pretty tight.

I hope these help, if anyone else can look at this and give me some suggestions that would be good too.

I don't have one, but I would have expected to see the cover drawn more tightly to the rubrail in photo #1. Does the draw cord at the rear strap not feed thru the entire skirt of the cover?

Is this the only option Coversports offers? I'd like to see more coverage for the transom.

branandsers -- thanks for the pics ---- it appears your clasp on the rear cinch strap doesnt center in the protective pouch either ? Also - seems your draw string doesnt tighten up that well around the rub rail either ? Im having same issues -- as well as need cutouts for the cleats to tie off with when at dock overnight...

Seems to me that we both have the rear cinch down strap on incorreclty as it should be in the middle of the protective cover when its drawn tight....??

Depending on where the J Hooks are installed there will be a slight gap between the edge of the cover to the boat. I actually prefer this as the J Hooks will keep the cover from coming off and the gap may allow the boat to breathe slightly.

If I remember correctly, there is a small loop (should be behind the clasp in branandsers 4th photo) attached to the protective pouch. I attached one side of the drawstring to this loop, and the other side of the drawstring to the strap coming from the opposite end of the pouch (same as branandsers 2nd photo). I can't recall exactly how the cinch was threaded; however, I am pretty sure that at this point all I had to do was pull the loose end of the strap coming from the cinch to tighten the cover. I don't have any great photos on me, but hopefully I can get some this weekend.
