About every car on the market now has controls on the steering wheel. Whats the hold up on boats? I think it would be as handy as a pocket on a shirt. Nautique hope your reading this!!

that does seem like a simple fix to volume control. I did notice in the videos that it looks like you do not have to change screens on the new linc system to change volume but not sure if its works both in reg screen and wake boarding screen mode but will have to say the auto volume works great on the linc system but a quick turn of a knob on the steering wheel would come in handy sometimes so you could keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the water.2013 G23 super air

Lets have Nautique get a large group of "retail" buyers together and build the ultimate "retail" buyers' boat...all the gadgets, gizmos, electronics, bells and whistles we weekend warrior retail buyers desire. Kind of like what they did for the G23, getting all the Pros together and building the ultimate wakeboarding boat...Last edited by ccs; 05-10-2012, 07:42 PM.__________________________________________________

Never appreciated its usefulness on a car until I had a manual gearbox. On a boat, once the throttle hits the perfect pass set point (or a useful position for that matter), I can adjust the volume or skip to the next track. My radio is on the throttle side though. Thought about this upgrade, but forgot about it for as little as I might use it.1998 Ski Nautique (Red/Silver Cloud), GT-40, Perfect Pass Stargazer 8.0z (Zbox), Acme #422, Tunable Rudder.

I don't know how well the boost box works for that, but I would give up my PP before my HSE. After just a few rides you realize the controls to everything are in only 2 postions, riding and crusing, just put them in the right place and i never touch anything until we change activities. I think steering wheel controls would complicate the audio, but would be a nice option for the PP To bad HSE didn't make it.

I installed a Boost Box on my 08 it takes about 5 seconds to set it and you never have to adjust the radio again. I think the Links system does the same thing but I have no experience with it.
