MN Spring Ride

I'm fairly new to this forum, so hopefully it's okay to post about local events (especially since it is something Nautique is a part of).

Just wanted to let everyone know that the second annual MN Spring Ride is just around the corner. This 3 day wakeboarding and boating festival is being brought to us courtesy of Nautiques of Minnesota and MarineMax. This years Spring Ride will also include the Red Bull 'On The Line' Double-Up Contest. The total payout for Saturday is $6000!

The payout breakdown is this:
Best Trick - 1st: $2500
Best Trick - 2nd: $750
Best Trick - 3rd: $500
Biggest Air: $1000
Best Crash: $250
Team Award: $1000

Friday will consist of two "regular" behind the boat riding contests.
Womens Biggest Grab - $200 cash:
1st - $125
2nd - $50
3rd - $25

Mens Best Trick - $300 Cash:
1st - $150
2nd - $100
3rd - $50

Did I mention that a new 2013 G23 is scheduled to make its MN debut at this event???

Dates: June 7-9
Location: Big Sandy Lodge & Resort, in McGregor MN (just 2 hrs North of Minneapolis).
Spectator Fee: It's FREE!
Who it's for: Everyone! Anyone who is an enthusiast about wakeboarding and boating is encouraged to come. It's an atmosphere that is good for people of all ages...friends, family and young children.

We have permits to shut down an entire bay in front of the resort, so the water should be nice and calm. There is plenty of time for free riding for anyone and everyone...we just take turns so we can all enjoy the good water. The rest of the lake is huge, so if you want to venture off and find your nice riding spot you should have no problem doing so. We also will have a rail/winch setup in a pond that is right next to the resort bar patio.

Yea I plan on bringing up my boat ... I really do not want to be shunned due to it being a Mastercraft... working with Casey over at marine max to get my first Nautique put together... (SANG23) Super excited

Right on. There should be plenty of dock space. They are charging $15/day for slips, so you'd definitely be guaranteed a spot. No worries on bringing an MC...there will be a lot of different brands there.

You must know a guy named Ian? I took him out in the SAN230 a few weeks ago, and he said his friend was thinking about a G23. Good choice my friend...production on my G23 should start next week. I'm hoping it will be finished by spring ride.

Ya absolutely, Congrats on the new purchase. I saw the color scheme, looks amazing. Ian is a good friend of mine he said you guys could really throw down. Its to bad he chose to go with the new X25 instead of the SAN230. But on the positive it really showed me what I am looking for in a new boat. Now I just want to see the boat in action and making sure it is as game changing as it claims (even though I don't have a lot of game). But then its just about the options and the colors. LOTS OF DECISIONS .. Good thing I don't have to make them alone.

Just a heads up that there is only 1 room left at the resort for the Spring Ride. If you were wanting to get a spot, probably better do it soon.
