    04 Sv211 surfing

    I have a 04 sv 211 te...I want to get the best wave possible for SURFING! What would be the best set up for this?

    regular stance: 350# sac on the port walk thru; Fly High 370# tube sac under the passenger (port side) bench seat; 350# sac on floor of the bow, port tank full, belly tank full. At least 2 adult passengers on port side. 10.5 to 11 mph

    Watch for rollers and drive carefully.

      would you consider placing lead weights in the port compartment on the back as well?

        I would stay away from lead as it can't be easily removed, such as pumping water.

        Also, watch out for water entering the air intake vent.

          Yeah that part has always been easy...do you use a different prop rotation on your boat?

            I believe the best surf wake is on the starboard side due to the prop rotation.
            Just tape over the air intake with some masking tape while surfing.

              Na, I use the one that came with it. Just kidding. I think your '04 is a RH prop and by '07 (the year of my old 211) Nautique had changed to PCM V drives that are LH

                Would a LH prop make surfing on the starboard side easier? Would it add more of a curl to the wave? My boat has the RH prop so when I barely take off I could see a curl on the starboard side...would this change that?
