G23 - Let the countdown begin

Pieces of my G23 purchase are finally starting to come in. The trailer just arrived today. Last I heard, the boat was going to be done on June 1. Anyone know of a contact at Nautique that would be able to give me an update on the status of the build? The delivery date isn't scheduled until mid June, but if the factory is truly going to be done with it on June 1, then I may just have to take a trip down there to pick it up, or find a private person to deliver it to me. Any thoughts on who I could contact would be greatly appreciated!

Needless to say, I'm super excited to get it here. I will definitely post up a lot of pics and specs. Probably pretty lame of me, but I've been super curious to know the dimensions of things such as the under seat compartments, the best weight setup, best speed/rope length combo, what rpm it runs at with the new 15x12 prop, and all the other little details about the boat.

You can call or email CC customer service, or your dealership can make the call. They're very accomodating if you go down to pick it up, or just watch final assembly.

I've done both, emailed CC directly and had my dealer email them, and have yet to hear anything (dealer tried about a week ago, and I emailed about 4 days ago). This is the email address I used: info@correctcraft.com is there a different one I should try?

^^^Will do. In fairness to MM, I know they've been busy getting stuff for Spring Ride ready and also had to deal with one of their 210s getting stolen last weekend (it was recoverd a while later with about $10k worth of damage).

We're just getting down to crunch time (hopefully only 7 more days!), and I need to start making plans to get it here a few weeks early, if I can. I'll give Larry a call. Thanks!

j2nh - Boatmate made it. This is just a pic that the dealer sent me. I may go take a look at it myself and get a bunch more pics, if I'm up in that area.

shonuff - I didn't. I always told myself that I'd never order a boat without demoing it first, too. My justification, lol - I didn't wanna buy a 230 this year and then switch to a G23 next year. Time was of the essence in order to get myself one for this season...otherwise it woulda been into September or even next year. I talked with a few people numerous times to get all of the details on the wake and other features of the boat. I did, however, see the boat in person while I was in Florida back in February when they were doing their photo shoot for the release...just a very random gas station appearance, when I was filling up the rental car before catching my flight back to Minnesota.

I just talked with Larry at Nautique. He was pretty adamant that they hadn't even started production on them yet, but was going to look into it. I told him all of the dates came off of the purchase confirmation that Nautique sent me. I know there have been a few G23's delivered to dealers out there so my fingers are crossed that the dates they gave me are close to accurate.

We'll see what Larry comes back with.

That would be a bummer. When my brother went down to watch his '12 200 being built, they said it would be in assembly, having the interior installed. When he got to the factory, it was in the water waiting for him to take a ride. I'm wondering if CC is good at under-promising?

I don't blame you. From all the pictures and reviews of the wake I'm sure you'll love it. You have to post pictures of the wake when you get it!

Not in Dallas the trailer builder will have the boat onsite to build the trailer to match up. Boat should be here next week as well.

I'm sure your boat will meet and surpass your expectations. I bought my '06 without a test drive, coming from a '98 Prostar. I just went on faith that it would be great, and it dropped kicked my expectations! You're in good hands with CC
