2000 Air Nautique Price

I'm looking at a 2000 Air Nautique on Tuesday with 525 hours on it listed for 23K. 351 engine, 525 hours, trailer, mooring cover, flight control tower, 6 disc cd, tower speakers, wakeboard racks, perfect pass

I obviously want to get the best price possible. Can anyone offer assistance on what I should offer? I checked nadaguides.com and they are coming in at $17,620 on the high end and $15,425 on low end.

If it's in really great shape, I think that price is reasonable. What kind of trailer - single or double axle? I have that boat and have been really happy with it. Great boat to do whatever you want behind it...not perfect at everything, but great. Slalom wake is fairly soft and you can throw a bunch of weight in it and get some nice pop for wakeboarding.

If 23K is worth it to you, then the boat is worth it.

Prices in the northeast and parts of the Midwest are higher than other places in the country. In the south and west, the price you stated is more in line with a 2000 super air. 20k would be the max I would personally pay for that boat in that market and it would have to be immaculate, especially if it still had the stock ballast and had not been upgraded. Also, I would probe the hours further. If he still has the digital gauges and they are working, you are fairly safe. I he replaced them with the analog speedo and tach, you need to ask more questions.

The nada value doesn't usually include the trailer value so that will add another $1500 or so depending on its configuration and condition.
