    2012 model 230 automatic bilge ???

Question - - how do I "turn on" the automatic bilge pump on our 2012 - team 230 ?

Do I turn both batteries off or one left on ? Seems if I manually turn on bilge it will just keep running, so that can be right...

Thought I just left 1 battery on and it would kick on automatically if water detected -- but when I turned on 1 battery and went to cover the boat I noticed the stereo remote control at rear of boat was illuminated and wouldn't go dark ?? Figured this would drain the battery ?

So back to original question -- how do you activate the automatic bilge for when I leave boat in water overnight ?

    Thanks in advance....

I usually just turn to battery one or two, then put the dash switch to 'bilge pump only'..... That's the way my 09' is set up.

the way I think it works, when the toggle switch is up its auto , which runs though cycles all the time to detect any water .when toggle is in the middle off every thing off would only use this mode trailer or out of water. Toggle all the way down auto mode, every thing off in the boat except the bilge, I have never played around with the batteries .

There's no on,off, bilge on toggle for the new boats? I know on the older ones te pumps r on a timer, not a float switch so the pumps will turn on every 5 minutes to check for water.

that's too bad there is no toggle switch after 2010 , I think that's one of the nice things that separated nautique from other boats, one switch that cut off everything, last thing I always did before putting her to bed

There's still a toggle on the 2011's. It's not on the dash... it's by the drivers hip by the lanyard switch.

I beleive when you turn off the dash pod (e.g., with the engine off, you enter your code and press stop again) everything is turned off but the bildge and blower can still be turned on.

What do I do with the battery selector - leave it all off ? or set to 1 battery ?

Common wisdom I believe is to alternate between #1 and #2. That way, you always have one that's charged and not getting run down. But, if you chose all off, the bilge pump won't work as I understand it.

Assuming you have 2 cranking batteries you should alternate between batteries each time out an recharge them after any kind of discharge or they won't last/ be dependable. I'd call your dealer Bc ur boats new and they should be more than willing to go over this with you; which they should have done before you took it home anyways.

You have to leave at least one battery turned on. If you switch both to off the bilge pump cannot turn on.

Gride is correct. Your dealer should have made things like this very clear. A CC dealer should be sure the owner has a full understanding of how most essential things work.... If the battery switch is to OFF, nothing in the boat will have power.

Looks sharp! I think the white trailer was definitely the right choice with silver accent stripe. Congrats!
