The bilge pump is the only(horn?) electrical accessory that is not controlled by the linc system. If you're concerned with water accumulation in your boat, you should leave one battery on with the link system off. With the linc system off, all the electrical components are off and therefore it protects your battery from being drained. You have to activate the bilge switch once you turn off the linc system in order to be in auto mode. If it is running without stopping, try turning it off and on again, I believe the led should be blinking on the bilge switch.

So there's no toggle switch like previous models but it is a better overall system since the old toggle switch didn't control all of the electrical accessories and you could end up with a defective component that would have drained your battery.

The horn also works when the link system is off, the toggle switch was replaced by the link system, same function but better managed.

As mentioned in some of the previous posts just leave the battery on 1 or 2.

Also, speaking from personal experience from this past weekend, make sure you are NOT standing near the bilge port on the starboard side when your wife turns on the batteries.

2011 Linc1 had the toggle switch, 2012's do not. Leave whichever battery you want on, use your code to lock the Linc2. Bilge will automatically stay on and check for water every few minutes. You do not need to turn it back on. The only things that work with the Linc2 off are the bilge pump and the horn. The blower will not work until it is unlocked.

on the g23 and I assume on all 2012 you can turn every thing off by hitting the stop pad twice which leaves the bilge on, then hit the bilge pad which turns that off. that's quicker and easier then opening the little door and turning the battery isolator.

That only works if you've never put your own security code in. If you have put your own code in, you must input it and then push stop. That shuts everything down except bilge pump and horn.
