2002 sante steering pulls to port

I just acquired a nicely maintained 2002 SANTE with Python. The prop and rudder appear true and unblemished. However, the boat wants to steer hard to port at every throttle position. Is that a common issue? If not, is there a simple fix? The steering wheel turns easily and the boat turns well, as long as you have a tight grip. At soon as you loosen your grip, she goes to port.

Check the tab at the back of the rudder, it is adjustable for how much pressure you want against the rudder.

Loosen the screw that holds the trim tab.

Move the trim tab to port. It then pushes the main rudder starboard, and corrects a port side pull.

Tighten the screw for the trim tab.
