I know I just left picking some stuff up from Buxton and Andrew told me they surfed it on factory ballast and it was a beast. If I'd of known I would have went.

I knew they were going to be out, I was supposed to have been over there earlier, but I was out on my boat about 6:30 and ran into them out on the water, JD Webb was driving. Surf wake was crazy.

Not only does the 550 have a $20k+ problem, but it requires high octane and you probably have to own a gas station to keep gas in it.

I surfed the G23 on Monday with Buxton with only the factory ballast. Wake was as good if not better than my 2010 SANTE 230 with belly and side full, 300 pounds of lead and a 750 Fly High. It had a great curl and I which I had pics. Boat was awesome and drove easy but I wouldn't go less than the 450, based on my experience with a 343 in the 230. Storage everywhere and no sacks needed. The only draw back for me was the height of the sides made me fell a little confined when setting in it.
2013 G23 450 with NSS (175hrs) and still have the original prop

It's great to hear the "real-world" feedback. Has anyone noticed if it is weight sensitive when wakeboarding? From my experience, the 230 is more weight sensitive than the 210, so I am interested to see how the G23 is.

wow! I would have to disagree with you on that statement, from owning and personnel experience I would put the boats in this order: 220, 210 230 with the 230 being the least sensitive . That is using factory ballast and anywhere between 2000 to 3500 extra ballast ,just what I have experience,

My experience has only been with factory ballast. Maybe with more ballast the 230 is less sensitive than it is with just factory weight.
