    SS cupholders with blue led's

Looking to put in ss cupholders with blue led's in my SV-211. Does anyone know where I can purchase these to fit my existing openings at a decent price? Also can I just tap into my navigation lights without any trouble, I don't want to overload the switch but I think it will only draw another 1.5 amps if I figures right on 10 cupholders.

I would put them on the courtesy lights switch. First they will draw bugs and you might want to turn them off, but will need nav lights. Second they might cause a glare when driving and u will want them off.

Good point. I will just wire them into the courtesy lights. Thanks!

Use these and just plug them into the plugs at your lights in the rear trunks and under the glove box. That way you wont have to cut any factory wires.

Where do you get these kind of connectors? You are right, with these the install would be much easier not cutting into stock wiring. Thanks for the info!

I did my 211, here is the deal.

I would put them on a dedicated switch, when they are on you cannot see anything outside of the boat and cannot even idle around. At a minimum, add a overide switch under the dash so you can turn them off. Blue attracts bugs, so does white, I have now had both after getting a ticket for my blue LED speaker rings on my tower speakers (blue is reserved for the marine patrol). On the 211 the cupholders in the bow, near the pass through and behind the driver are so close to each other you really need the ring to be flush with the outside rim of the cupholder. I had my rings made at Tap Plastics. They used a lazer to cut them which left them too clear, I sanded them to dull them so you didn't have to look at the copper circuit boards. If I would have used the white plastic covered flexible strips the clear would have been fine.

Take note, my cupholders were not very consistent on the outside rim diameter. I suggest you pull all of them and verify the exact dimension before you invest in the rings. I ended up buying another 6 cupholders before I got a consistent set.

While it seems like this should be a cheap and easy upgrade, it is not. It's not that hard either.

I also changed my stock lights to blue while I was at it. I didn't like having some blue and some white. Today everything it white.

Your boat looks awesome with the lights! Where did you buy the blue lights for the courtesy area? I may end up doing that on mine and change out the white lights. Also, where did you get the lights above the swim platform and underwater? Did you put all your lighting on the same switch? Thanks for the info!
