Ok...getting close, may need some help

I think i have my larson sold. Thinking of buying http://www.waterskiamerica.com/pre_o...R0&veh=2678951

It has kinda high hours. I basically told them unless they can get records proving oil was changed regularly I am out. Anyone have thoughts. They basically say they are malibu dealer and guy traded in this boat on a malibu and it was serviced at buxton.

Not thrilled that it does not have swing tongue trailer....

Does anyone have thoughts on the boat?

Anyone know much about this dealer? I spoke to couple people their and they seem pretty honest.

I believe boat is at lewisville tx location. Anyone feel like doing me a favor and checking this one out? PM if able to....

They are a Malibu dealer and have a good reputation. I have a buddy with a 2000 X-star who has this Malibu dealer do all his service (including hard stuff like fixing a bent shaft and related gelcoat work), because they are so much better than the local MasterCraft dealer (at least to him). I have not personally dealt with them, however.

The SANO (non skid surfaces) have been replaced with SeaDek, some would consider that an improvement. See picture of the swim platform and on the floor next to the helm

I own a 08 210 I cant say enough good things about it . The hours show the boat was used often but unless there are other things to show poor maintenance or was used irresponsibly. Mine has 440 hours now. The price seems to be accurate with the options shown . Hopefully you can get somebody local to check it out pics dont always tell the real story.

Nice boat at a good price. Please tell me you will change the tower speakers to the underside. Not a fan of the dealership at all! but you can buy it and never deal with them at all agian.

Great boat. The hours are no big deal as long as the oil has been changed. No info on the dealer.

Check the service records but do not worry about total hours. Actually would make me a little more comfortable with the boat.... Was used, but by the looks of the interior and after an engine check, was cared for properly.

From the looks of it, those speakers may really get in the way of the rope while riding and making turns. I'd think about having the dealer flip them under the tower, or at least test drive it with a rope attached and possibly a rider cutting far out to either side.

Call Buxton, they know everything about every Nautique in this area. I'm right down the road from Water Ski America if you need someone to look at it.

I just called Buxton, you would be the second owner. That boat has all new skins and new sea deck and new lights. No major repairs and Buxton has done every oil change and service and have all the records. As soon as I said Water Ski America they knew the boat and owners name right away. That boat won't last in this market long at all.

Id say your making a good decision on this one. I knew the PO. Took pride in the boat and, He never EVER weighted the thing. His only fault is he converted to a Bu. I tried hard to get him in a 230. His loss.
