I need advice on a scenario that has me fuming and want feedback on the best way to handle it. 3 weeks ago I picked up my new 2012 SAN 230 Coastal Edition. This past Monday I dropped it off at my dealer to have a couple small items tweaked.
This week we had several inches (3-5) of rain two nights in a row. I called the dealer to make sure my cover was on and was told indeed it was. Heres the problem - the cover was not put on and my boat is soaked and smells awful. Not only did my boat get soaked my upgraded stereo equipment did as well. Again I was told the cover was on and without saying a word took it home. Check out the photos.
If the cover was on why would the following:
Evidence of water on amps in enclosed compartment
Evidence of water pooled up in side inserts where cup holders are
For cover to be on the tower has to be folded down - my tower speakers have water spots and dirt in them
tried to post video of seats and couldn't get it to work - seats and carpet dripping constantly
red dirt from rain storm in crevices of seats and floor
I am very disappointed and want advice as to how you would handle the situation. Thanks for your advice!
