I did the trip to pick up a minivan for my wife that I purchased in Dallas. It cost me around $1600 round trip with hotels and food and I pulled a monster holiday trailer down there getting about 450km to a tank of diesel. I bought a car hauler, and towed the minivan home as well. On the way home I averaged about 650km on a tank. It was between 7500-8000 km round trip for me.

You can list your shipment on Uship.com for free with no obligation to actually accept any bids. I used them to ship the boat I purchased near Dallas. Total mileage was about 1,100 and I accepted a bid of $825. The actual shipper himself was great to work with and very professional. He had 1.5 million miles on his F-250, so needless to say, he has been doing this a while. Just be sure to get someone with great feedback. Yours could be a lot more difficult and expensive shipping internationally. The other option would be to have someone ship it to a border town on the US side and meet them to take it over yourself. Good luck.

This. You don't want a call at 2am that he's having trouble at the border and he's leaving your boat there to pick up.
