How to carry all the gear?

Sorry, I am not sure if this has already been discussed, but with a family of five, I don't have a real good way to carry three wake boards, a surf board, a tube, four water skis and a knee board other than putting them on the floor of the boat.

Does anyone know of a rack system that fits down on the floor of the boat? Some of the gear is of course stowed in the standard areas, but not all of it fits. I am just worried about something flying out of the car if I have to stop fast.

The tower is the best place to store equipment . I found surf pockets on the Tige forum my wife modified the tower bimini to hold two surf boards . I suppose it could be used for kneeboards or skies. I found the ski rack on Ebay it fit perfrct and holds two skies. Or just trade the 236 in on a new G23 it will hold everything below the deck.

sounds like you're asking about trailering instead of boating. In that case don't trailer with gear in racks. Otherwise, don't know the answer if you're pulling with a car. I use my truck bed for the extra gear while trailering.

Thank you for the replies. Yes, to be more specific, I was talking about towing the boat to and from the lake. There never seems to be enough room in the SUV.

At this point I am trying to figure out if I might be able to fabricate a floor rack to capture the gear or possibly modify a Thule system to work in the boat.

What boat are we talking about?

Should be able to just pile everything except the surfboards in the boat. Throw the surf boards in the car or if you have a snap on bow cover you can put that on and lay them under there.

It's a 236. We don't have a snap cover for the front, but maybe that could be an option.
