Looks like 450 might be the way to go. I heard the 450's this year don't require high octane.

I was at the event in Guntersville that the G23 was pulling the tournament put on by WakeFactory (great event BTW.) Anyway, I asked and Sammy, rep from Nautique, said they were running the G23 450 on 89 (mid-grade.) Also overheard them talking about fuel consumption, 6 hours of pulling, burned 37 gallons - not too shabby.

6.1 gallons an hour ,sounds too good, my 230 burns more than 5 gallons, of continuous boarding, do you know if they were using any extra set up, weight, also was it the 450 or 550 ?

I know I was told by one of the pros who has had his G23 for awhile now, that he noticed a big difference in fuel burned per hr when he switched out his prop to the 15". He has the 550
