That was one thing I noticed along with many others over the weekend. The engine noise was very quiet inside the boat as well as outside. You could barely hear the engine when it went by on plane.

I had a chance to ride behind the G23 with 10 people in the boat and full ballast. It got on plane in 12 seconds or so with the 15 inch prop. Really fast for 2800 pounds of ballast and 1800 pounds of people. That is just under 5,000 pounds plus 5400 pounds of boat weight. The wake was the biggest wake I have ever rode. I had them take ballast down to 5/8 which was huge and fun. The boat is really different, people will not need the ballast full. You can ride much slower which also makes the wake bigger and the falls do not hurt as bad. Overall I am really impressed with the boat and the wake. It definitely separates Nautique from the other guys in a big way! I just saw the G25 card..... I can't imagine how big it will be!
