    WakeSideRides.com

Anyone see this site yet? I haven't been around all of it but it almost looks to be an owners site for every boat company?

Yea, I was/ am the first person signed up under Nautiques. Looks interesting, but I don't think its gonna go very far. I mean, there are already sites like this one or Malibu Boat Owners, which offer far more content.
    How about \"Chales\"?

I think its a neat idea to try to unite all the different armies, but I think each section for the boat companies somewhat defeats the purpose. With those company sections, it just seems like they're trying to take "business" away from sites like this, MBO, tmcowners, mymc, etc... which is not cool...

But somehow I think a site like that with every major boat company can get pretty dangerous when someone comes around and says, "I'm looking for a new boat, but can't decide. Which is better, the Nautique, Malibu, or MasterCraft? Thanks!"

I like the Show Off your boat feature as soon as you log in, thats nice. I mean when the boats not in the water, what else are they for?

That kinda defeats the purpose also...

Kinda like me opening a dealer and selling MC, BU, and CC, while still owning my 216 and being a the diehard CC fan that I am.

I never thought dealers needed to own any boats. They order one from the factory at the beginning of the season all decked out, and then use it as a promo and for personal use and then sell it at the end of each year. I don't know how Eric would be selling the other three brands if he owned one. Would someone really buy a brand X boat from him if the customer asked Eric what his personal boat is and Eric said brand Y? And if he can afford to own four different boats, I don't know why he's selling boats period. lol

So how many boats do you own Eric? It'd be cool to have 4 promos.

Here's the press release from WW on WSR.
                http://www.wakeworld.com/getarticle.asp?articleid=119

Mid Ohio only carries 3 brands.
I definitely wouldn't buy brand x just beacuse Eric owns brand x as his personal boat.
We all have our own needs.
That is what side by side comparison and on water test are for.

I think its great that one dealer can sale MC, CC, and BU. Let the boats sell themselves. ( so to speak)

LOL....How did I get drug into this???

Well I am very lucky because I get to use all of them. I dont have a personal boat. Skinautique I own more than one of everyone of them....remember I own the place. --> sign here. LOL (and Kenw is right we ONLY carry 3 lines)

The lake I live on has a restriction of 20'-6 so that does limit what I can take home for the weekend.

Malibuboatowners.com as it used to be no longer exists. Jason, some may know him as skicrave, hired on with Wakeside. He carried over a lot of the old stuff from MBO, (screen names, post counts, etc...) but I'm skeptical that it will be the same as it was before, which is really quite a shame.

MBO is now a part of WSR. Jason built MBO into WSR. Quite a few of the MBO members have moved to a new site built by some of the former mods. See post above for address of themalibucrew. I am a member and the founders husband, but Luke has been corrisponding with Tracie so I thought I would check out what you guys have got going on. It looks great, too bad I own a Wakesetter. (but if it helps I ski behind my brothers Ski Nautique all the time, it's a super boat)

I usually look at this site first--as a die hard CC owner. Then I hop over to MBO. Always good info and lively discussion over there. I was missing it until I found the new malibucrew.com site. Thanks for the info.
