    Faria Gauges, lake water temperature

Ok, is there any way to calibrate or adjust the lake water temperature reading on my gauges?
I have been looking but can't seem to find any way to do it. I hate having to tell everyone its actually 5 degrees cooler than it reads

Mine is the add on that is included with the depth finder, I compared it to the pool thermometer that we used before and it read the same. Where is the sensor? Mine is on the transom and it will get off if the boat is moving because of the water comming out of the exhaust, most notable in the winter when the water is cold. It usually only takes it less than a minute of floating to get a good reading so our 'official' number is just before we start the boat for a skier change. If your getting info from the paddle wheel sensor off the PP then those tend to be few degrees more optimistic from what I've seen with mine and another in the same lake.
