AND thats my number one question at the G25 release party. Why are the pumps facing downward where if a seal was to leak it would fry the motor. I know the answer, to access the impeller" but I would think they could have found a better spot since the boat was designed from ground zero.

In the second pic, after the shot of the jabsco impeller access plates, what is that fat section of hose?

That is one huge boat! The comparisons with the 230 are something else. You could mount a 200 on that thing for a dingy!

Does anybody have pictures of the factory bimini? Does it travel/store in place on the tower or can the tower be trailered in the down position? Sure would be nice to get to the lake without bugs plastered to the tower, speakers and racks.

              Thanks

google "nautique G23 pics" and the first hit that comes up is "images for Nautique g23" - sorting through dozens of pics, there are a few showing the bimini top deployed and at least one with a travel cover.

On a seperate note, I went through the G23 recently and rode behind it and soon will have an opportunity to tear through and ride the new X-Star. It occurs to me that I probably will be one of the few around to have ridden both wakes.

Sja, definitely some pictures I had not seen before but none with the top in the storage position or with the tower down or if it's trailerable with it down.

Extremely cool boat - be curious to see one in person.

It's trailerable with the tower down.

I will have that same opportunity this week to get inside the new X Star... Can't Wait ... I was so impressed by Jay's G23 I hope the X Star can really show something spectacular. What Day are you going out on the New Star...

How come your steering wheel is the same as the 230? I was told that the G23 would have the new steering wheel as seen on the Green one at the release party as well as on the nautique site when you build one?

There are a few items that had not arrived yet, so instead of waiting for them I we got them to send me the boat with a few temporary items. The actual stuff will arrive and be installed by my dealer a little ways down the road.

                                To Jay and Nate:
They have an X in at MWMC to show for two days only. The one they have on order will be in late August. By the way jay your G is awesome! I am going to ride the X on Wednesnay and will really be surprised if the wake is as sweet. Thanks!
