2008+ SANTE 230s - What Prop Comes On Boat?

I have a ACME 1235 prop on my 2008 SANTE 210 that I installed a few months back and my buddy just got a 2008 SANTE 230 that has the same prop (he is the 2nd owner). Just out of curiousity, I was wondering if the ACME 1235 is the standard OEM 230 TEAM prop that comes from the factory for the 2008+ models or if there have been other props that come on this boat.

though i bought my 08 sante 230 used, it was from a single owner that never changed the prop. mine is a 1235.

DH - thanks for the response (great looking 230 btw). Gotcha, sounds like the OEM Team prop is a 1235 then for atleast the 2008 model year. It looks like there is still a lot of clearance with the 1235 on there (my 1235 is a super tight fit), so I bet some people are running an even bigger prop than the 1235 although that prop seems to do a pretty good job with the 230.

Anyone know of some bigger props that guys are running on their 230's (larger than a 14.5) or maybe even a 5-blade?

since i just bent my prop last week, i was considering purchasing a spare and was curious of going larger in diameter would help. all my research points back to the 1235 though (one example site....http://www.wakeprops.com/wakeboard-b...oat-propellers). currently we run 750 lb sacs in each locker, a 700lb bow sac, and the 700lb "arrow" sac in the hull locker. all on top of stock ballast. though with the rear sacs about half full and 5-7 people on board, the boat will plane slowly, it's not bad. please let me know what your research finds. fyi - i couldn't find any data/info on the 5-blade oj prop.

And good luck in finding that info. My dealer tried and OJ is not releasing it. From the pics I've seen on the FX5 it is not even stamped on the prop hub. Mine should be here this week.....

DH - wow, you're runnning some serious weight in that thing! Bet the wake is huge - we just ride stock on my friend's 230 and the wake is plenty for us.

Wonder why OJ is keeping the data/info on the 5-blade so close to the chest. My only experience with that prop is from the Boarding School. Moye was running one on his 2011 Star with the 7.4L Ilmore - that thing leaped out of the hole even with 7-8 peeps in the boat, factory ballast and Full Fly High (1100lbs in the rear, two 400lbs in the front, 500lbs of lead tucked in the nose). That Ilmore is a hauss!

Is the 5-blade a new technology that others will be following (ACME) or a fade-thing? Its an interesting concept - I'm just not very knowledgeable on props.
