    Dude.....???!!!!! Wow.

That open bow has more space than my whole boat (2001) has!

I am not so sure the surf wave would be that much better than the G23 ... the ballast is the same on both boats, and the waves look very similar in the videos.

Can anyone comment who has surfed behind a G23?

Talking to Murray lastnight and I asked about the wake surf wake compared to the 23. He said you just have to see it, they chopped the corners off the stern so the boat would lay flat on that surface and it made the wave. Well I'm on my way now to see it. On water pics are coming stay tuned!

So it looks as if they basically stretched a G23 by 2'... Looking at the comparison shot it looks to be stretched everywhere from bow to stern keeping everything proportional. I thought the G25 might come with more factory ballast since the boat has more room, but still not understanding how or where exactly they placed the ballast it may not have been possible. I can't remember exactly, but didn't the G23 have the lobbed off corners on the transom too?

Was at the local dealer last Saturday and while we were in a G23 he explained the G25 had an added 18" in the cockpit (behind the driver's seat) and the other 6" was in the bow.

No ballast at all in the boat! We are still on the water in another Nautique post more soon.

Looks like the rear hull design is exactly the same ... both have the corners chopped as far as i can see ...

One thing Nautique learned this weekend. Don't forget the bimini in Florida in 108 degree Texas heat. Great event by both Nautique and Buxton top notch. That G25 is a cruise ship, cut wakes like a knife. By far the best riding wakeboard boat I have been on, a true Cadillac. Funny we stepped off the G25 and went out to ride on a new 230 and it was like riding a bucking bronco compared to the 25.

I was traveling and missed the event :-( However with that price I think I'll keep my 230. I like the idea of the better ride, espeically in windy TX.

One thing to add about the launch party. These team riders for Nautique are at another level, not only riding but PR. I was on the stage with Murray asking him about the ballast pumps being mounted upside down (which he saw my point) when a father and son came up and stood next to us. The kid in ahhh at Murray and just stood there hugging his dads leg. Murray stopped mid conversation with me turned to the kid grabbed the new Nautique hat he had in his hand and signed it, the kid was in heaven. Murray then turns to me and says "i'll see you at 8am at the dock," and grabs the kids hand and says "lets go find Watson and Rattray and get them to sign your hat too." I've been around Murray a few time over my life and he's always been great to me, but that move bumped him up 10 fold in my book. First time I ever met Rattray but he impressed me aswell, Watson known for awhile, hes good as gold as well. How does Nautique pick the good ones with all the bad out there??
