    wakemakers question

i have an 03 SANTE and dont know how a 400lb fat sac will fit on top of my hard tanks. has anyone purchased the piggyback system and do you recommend the 400lb or 750lb. i would prefer taking out hard tanks and going with 750lb so any input would be great.

i wait on hold for 5 minutes everytime i call wakemakers....dont know the deal.

The deal is it is summer and they're in their busy season. Be patient, b/c they are very knowledgable and helpful.

The fat sac simply sits on the floor of your storage lockers directly on top of the factory ballast tanks in a piggy back arrangement. If you want to verify the fit, measure the length and width of your storage locker then compare that the the dimensions of the sac your are considering.

I have done two installs with their assistance along with the advice of many here on PN -- actually I was able to reuse the parts from the first install to complete the second on the current boat.

If your ballast need is for surfing, my suggestion is to go with the 750s plus a sac in the belly (I went with the Arrow sac in the belly).

I have the same boat (03 SAN) and I pulled the rear hard tanks and now use the 750 lbs. FatSacs. With the hard tanks removed, there is so much more room for maint. and service. Just my $.02.

Five minutes, I waited 28 yesterday and would do it again. Their advice is invaluable.
