    Ski 206 Ballast

Looking for someone that can recommend the best wakeboard ballast setup for a Ski 206.

I am being told to put 750 lbs in the back and 300 in the walk thru area.

Any suggestions on a specific Fat Sac combination that works?

    Thank you!

Interested in hearing recommendations as well. Is that 750 on top of the stock 200lbs?

No, 750/300 total ballast.......just one opinion though from a pro shop guy that doesn't run a 206. I am hoping someone here that has been there and done that, can tell me what works.

I have found that more weight in the back, the better. With surfing as well, if we put a sac in the walkway, it loses height really fast. We typically have a 700# in the back between engine box and seat and then people or sacs on the sides. We are skiers first so not very advanced on the WB.

Here is how we set it up for surfing...we do the same for wakeboarding...we just go faster

Thanks DSKI. I whimped out and got the twin sacs for a combined 520lbs. I haven't tried them yet, but figured I would start there, and add the 750 lb sac to the back if it isn't enough.......that would make for 1200 lbs!

I am definitely a skier first, but my son is going the WB route, so I am going to see if we can get him some more ramp.
