    NautiqueParts.com Disappointment

    I hate to bash on something especially since they are such a large sponser to PN and I understand if this gets removed but I have to say Im so disappointed with nautiqueparts right now. I ordered a Steering Clamp Block Mount on tuesday of this week, now I live in Greensboro, NC which should be about a 1 day maybe 2 day shippment from White lake, NC. So I assumed I would have no problem getting my part in time to be back out on the water this weekend. Just got an email an hour ago that says the package has a label printed and ready to be picked up by the carrier. I'm sorry but not shipping an item like this for 4 days is just pitiful. I haven't had problems like this in the past but this is just so frusterating. I could and should have driven to White lake to pick this part up. All I know is it better rain all weekend or I'm going to be a bitter soul.

    Did you contact them to make sure it was in stock before you ordered it? Also did you contact them and let them know that you needed it by this weekend? You say you "assumed" it would be there this weekend, did you ask?

      While this does, on the surface, appear to be a lower level of service than what NautiqueParts normally provides, please don't judge them harshly. They are down a couple of important employees right now, and they are working very hard to keep up with demand. I don't know the details of your particular order, but they are working hard to provide great service as they address some other issues.

      I know this company and its employees well, and you will not find a better, harder-working group of people. If orders are falling behind, there is a good reason.

        I ordered some pieces last week, last Monday. Left a message at 9am, had a call back by 3pm and had my pieces in wednesday in Indiana, a day before they told me to expect my parts. I don't know the specifics of the this topics order, but I have ordered 3 times and it has been excellent.

          I have always had excellent service as well from NP. I ordered parts on Tuesday and they arrived at my parent's house in southern california today (friday) where I was able to pick them up on route to a wakeboarding lake vacation in central california. One item was not in the package which I ordered and was charged for, but I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt (not in stock, etc.) because it is not an integral part of my vacation plans. I will send them an email, but based on their previous professionalism, i will easily forgive them even if it was an oversight.

              I live in youngsville NC, just north of Raleigh. Yesterday, yes yesterday morning I ordered several items from them. I tracked them and they are on the fed ex vehicle for delivery today! I couldn't believe Saturday delivery when I had just ordered them yesterday. I'm very very impressed with them. I'm sure there is a reason why your part didn't ship out immediately. Usually though if I need something by a certain day, nothing is more certain than contacting them personally to place an order or picking it up at their location. This is with any company. Did you try contacting them at all before you got on here to vent about it?

                I have to agree with mikec, we have to personally take on a little responsibility when ordering , White Lake is a great company, I am sure they have read this thread and feel upset, and wouldn't be surprise they have not tried to contact you by know.

                    And I will reverse that argument...Throwing bodies at a problem doesn't solve it if they don't know what to do. NP does a great job most of the time getting out shipments super quick. But making that the expectation isn't fair to them, especially in the middle of their busy season. Order from anybody else and it'll be a week before they even look at it. Lesson to be learned is if you have a deadline let them know. They either would have made sure it got out or let you know then the part wasn't available immediately. And that place is definitely cross-trained, but it is a surprisingly small place in the middle of nowhere.

                      I ordered fuel filters on Tuesday at 3pm last week and the person I talked to said he would ensure they get sent that afternoon so I could get them in WI by Friday. And they showed up on Friday as expected. Great service for me.

                        I will agree I do think this is an abnormality. To answer MikeC I spoke with someone on the phone who told me it was in stock and would be to me in 1-3 days. Its been 4, I'm sure it will arrive Monday. World isn't ending, just a noticed trend of super high wait times when I have called them in the recent past and then this to top it off. I know I will order from them in the future and I hope this is an isolated incident. On the positive side maybe someone will notice this and aim to improve. I'm sure they are slammed and I was just a casualty of that. All the more reason to support your local dealer if you have one near you. We don't want them disappearing on us.

                          I actually meant to start a thread on how excellent the service on my first order was. I placed an online order on a Saturday, which arrived on Wednesday. I noticed a couple things were not quite right so sent them an email on Wednesday night. Dave responded to my email that evening (after 9pm) and had the order corrected and shipped the next morning for delivery on Saturday. Outstanding service! I will definitely be ordering from them again.
